Letting Blizzard Downloader finish (33mins) and then I'll run it so thank you

Didn't want to bother copying an ISO or any of that and the only way to get the latest Diablo II is via their stupid tool so paired with my B/G connection it's sloooooooow

I feel 7 ran smoothly on almost every machine. I had an old Dell D610 was one of my favorite laptops.

I have the aux fuse box and shit still hooked up, but should pull it. I just didn't take the time to think through is anything is drawing from it.

I bet 35R is what I had originally and recently.

I think maybe my old 6770K?

    Or maybe the older FX-8350?

A quick trip to KCMO yesterday to get a new Valley Tech Fabrication bumper installed. I like how it turned out. We had lunch at Joe's BBQ. I spent the night in Grain Valley and took this picture when I filled up.
I had a good time in KC. The people are friendly.

Best light-weight Linux option for my T42?

I have very limited experience with Ubuntu but remember it being easy; I also had Fedora for awhile but I couldn't remember if I had that as my OS and Windows on my vmware or vice versa.

I'll need 32-bit, light, and easy?

Figure I'll just order up an SSD and put Linux on it.

Ubuntu is easy, my current favorite is Arch though... and if you're looking at a good distro for gaming with I would use ChimeraOS which is a fork of Arch for gaming using Steam Deck libraries

    https://chimeraos.org/

I like Arch because it is still user focused like Ubuntu but really lightweight

Yea that's why I loved Ubuntu, but wasn't it 64-bit?

What computer you using Arch on?

I use Arch as an alternate on my DD laptop, my Dell Latitude 7300

Most of these distros have 32 and 64 support since Linux is so versatile

If you want super lightweight consider using Linux Mint or Puppy Linux

My old roommate swore by it, I liked it well enough. I built a Plex server and ffmpeg encoding rig using it but when I finally rebuilt it I went Arch and honestly I think it may be a close 2nd in end-user "feel" to Ubuntu these days with all the support from the SteamDeck relying on it now.

They're all cheap these days. ActionRetro YouTube channel has suggestions for the best adapters to IDE and SCSI
