just got a text from PSE. They've added 3 hours to the time estimate. now they're saying it'll be back on at 11:00. Perfect. My house should be good and Cold by then for my guests. Lol

 

I'm sure that 46* outside temp is starting to creep in. Not fun. Hang in there!

 

Nearly got skunked tonight, was trying to watch a hockey replay on my phone on my walk with Dex and didn't realize he was suddenly pulling to get at a skunk. Looked up to see the ass of the thing with it's tail up pointed at Dex from beneath the curb of the street, yanked back and somehow we didn't get sprayed.

Ended up seeing 4 more on our normal route, little ass blasters are out in full force tonight... Weird

 

Damn that sux, but on the plus side I bet if you went into work tomorrow they would send you home for the week.
Is it raining down there? We got like 2 inches of rain in the 24 hours. Washed all the snow away in my yard.

 

We had a shutoff a couple months ago for nearly 12 hours when they had to replace a power line down the street, luckily wasn't winter yet. Then our main breaker shit the bed a couple weeks ago. Might be a first world problem but it sucks to be without power for a good period of time.

 

It showered off and on today, same forecast for tomorrow. Then between Wed and Thurs we're supposed to get 3+ inches of rain with the main system. Forecast says it will rain through Sunday

 

Hopefully it will all turn to snow soon. El niño always brings worm storms.

Yeah my FB memories are full of snow wheeling trip photos from years past lately, this has been a late start to the snow season for our mountains. The temps are dropping for us pretty dramatically tomorrow though through next week so I imagine this storm will bring the higher elevations some snow

Also the main weather guy I follow has been saying that January will be colder than normal so hopefully that will combine with some snow for the mountains

 

Yeah I think January and February are going to look good for the west coast. Should be some good snow wheeling soon.

 

@eon_blue you have the same bouncer? Someone has become a problem solver.

 

Just made it back home. The power is back on and the house is all toasty. Yay.

yeah he hasn't figured that out yet, he still does the crazy waving arms/legs thing that infants do so I don't think he's got that kind of motor control yet lol.

Sometimes I hold him up on my shoulder and he'll lift his head up real high then SLAM it down on my collar bone, then start wailing. I'm like dude wtf are you doing
