They did the job pretty quick. Only a minute or so to cut through lol

I broke one disc in the 7" grinder trying to do it before I decided it wasn't the way I wanted to injure myself :D

Hey hey hey it’s a 7” grinder with an appropriately large cutting disc, and I’m wearing safety glasses. I’m not a complete redneck

Larger machinery where pinch points and rotating assemblies, yes sure.

But an angle grinder or smaller hand tools, you definitely want to wear gloves

In fact, even OSHA states to do so (not that anyone cares about OSHA violations) but since I always wear them, it's saved my fingers and hands a number of times

I can very well, they just have to be form fitting

For instance, I MIG weld with TIG gloves

I wear stick welding gloves because I end up moving really hot shit around a lot. But as for working on cars, i can occasionally tolerate wearing a nitrile glove or something but that's about it and only for super messy things like the LC axle rebuild.

They're definitely nice for moving shit around being super heat resistant

I've taken to blowing compressed air on welds if I need to move shit sooner than later

my bushings are so fucking stuck in there.

Not the best financial thing but I might just order Moog LCAs and put the white lines in those

I guess I could finish burning out the rubber and run welds around the inside of the outer sleeve in hopes the shrink will pull it free from the arm eye

I could also burn out the rubber and just run energy bushings which is probably the best balance of financial responsibility and effort :homer:
