Oh shit, yeah that makes for a bummer of a season. At least you got some good hiking in lol

I've been hunting down by Telluride and the last 6 years were a huge letdown. Not a single eligible elk to be seen :bananadead:

On another note, 17mpg not bad

And I'm fucking sure it was a turbo 2UZ I heard on my way here; that's what a 1st Gen Tundr V8 uses right?

They use a 2UZ but I doubt it was a turbo. Have to take those apart and build them with forged rods and pistons and preferably a crank too. The internals of a 2uz engine are made of paper mache and glass from the factory

We just got home, and there's a 3 lane that went to a 2 lane and back again so this Tundra tried cutting in and out (to get ahead of everyone)

It stepped on the gas hard and each time I heard a turbo spooling; no turbo diesel truck was near me to confuse it

The truck was practically a rattle can blue, and had no license plate (cause a turbo wouldn't fly here)

Maybe they swapped a 1UZ in it? It was forced for sure, and it was a turbo too

Who knows maybe they actually spent the money to put some internals in that thing. Can't imagine spending the money to put a turbo on it with its stock internals though I mean it's so weak they had to discontinue the undersized TRD supercharger because it was bending rods

Aaaaaand yet on the used market, superchargers still sell for $4-5k for them

Aren't people asking that much for their 1st Gen Tacoma blower? And there's a newer, more efficient style out?

Usually they're more than that cuz they're very hard to find. It was a problem right out of the gate. Pretty sure there's an urban legend about the ones in the LX and Land cruiser having forged rods and being able to run the supercharger that keeps their money up. They're probably fine if you get a bigger pulley and run them at like 4 PSI. Much over that and they have a problem of turning straight rods into curved ones.

Seems the population of quality elk and deer are declining quickly…so let’s have a forced introduction of wolves…:deadhorse::bananadead:

So, we get a ton of randoms that ask questions here

But, I mean they ask the most commonly asked questions for 1st Gen Tacomas like what's the best lift, or biggest tire without rubbing

I'm a shit poster anyway, you don't get this high up a number if your ratio of quality is higher than quantity :anonymous:

Right! And that's why I was already thinking to myself "I hope she isn't expecting the same as her last job"

I swear, that was complete shit the way you described it

I do have to admit one thing though....I still haven't integrated my garage door to my ADT app

Hope I didn't hurt your feelings :luvya:
