Funny cause that mimicks the complaints Ryan had with his first Tacoma and lunchbox locker

In the LC, aside from backing up while turning (you hear the clicking), you never would've guessed it was back there

But you are absolutely right, truck handled better with weight in the rear

I owned Bilstein 5100s for when the rear was empty, and would swap in the Fox 2.0 when the bed rack and RTT went on

You're going to have to pick up some skills and a place to work if you're going to do either of those

Why would I worry with the Land Cruiser's legendary reliability :luvya:

I've owned more vehicles in a single year than others do in a lifetime; I was extremely thorough in checking the LC out

When I had questions, I either looked online or asked someone knowledgeable before committing cause only a fool buys or trades for a vehicle blindly :burp:

    Ain't this the damn truth

I can't imagine welding at an apartment complex, although I wrenched plenty at one

A lot of TW members here do; gotta make due with whatcha got right

I’d be surprised if my place even allows that haha

To add, I didn't think to check if the front end was rebuilt correctly but I called Zane up and he quickly walked me through what to look for

As a buyer you should always do your due diligence otherwise you end up with a truck with shitty suspension, leaking steering rack, dry rotted tires, and other odds and ends

They didn't allow wrenching at mine

I pulled off my running boards, installed my roof rack, replaced LBJs, some suspension components, my ECT sensor, my fan clutch, installed my trans cooler and more at my apartment complex

When I still lived it an apartment they didn't let us either. But I also got to work with a whole lot of friends. So we go to the very back part of the lot where they were building the new units and set up there and then Park a couple other buddies cars in front of the ones we are working on so you couldn't see that we were working easily

Just park it in the direction where the area you're working on is a bit more hidden

A dedicated trail/tool bag is great for apartment complex fixes as you've got everything you know you need

I did break the end of a hex socket when I was removing my damn factory roof rack to install my Sherpa, aside from that it was all smooth sailing

That's legit, yeah as long as you hid your work it was easy to get away with it

For me it was just that awkward walk from car port to dumpster when I pulled my running boards off the night before driving out to Moab
