That's because you're retired and don't deal with this shit on the daily outside of here. The last couple weeks have been non stop on here. His hearts in the right place wanting to learn, but c'mon man. Put some thoughts into your opinions and weigh them against your reality. I read this, I watched that, good, but digest it for yourself. Blah. Rant over.

He's like every new teen driver with a Tacoma that joins the forum, doesn't wanna listen.

But he's been here for 2 years and is still doing it

Oh dude, you are explaining how every one of us feels for sure!

And it does amaze me how often tons of people tell him to go out and experience shit only to be give us an excuse.

    Excuses for everything :jerkoff:

I need to wheel more and see more trucks in action. But I’m broke and can’t afford for my truck to become more of a shitbox than it already is. I do hope to go out with Craig and other members soon though.

I need some 50 degree + weekends to get the front locker transferred. That ATRAC hesitation really sucked on that wet off-camber slope. The old LX would have made it.

Picked up this x8000i the other day for $250. Things in perfect condition. Insides look brand new. Sadly isn’t gonna work for my custom bumper, but I have a buddy with a LJ Jeep and a m8000 that’s willing to trade.

I noticed the ATRAC wanted to make the vehicle stop right when you were about to crest the edge of the rock step. Gallant said you need to stay on the throttle for it to work, but that's how stuff gets broken.

No one in their right mind would rat themselves out to management though, but you did

I just wouldn't have felt good working on it while worrying the whole time about a manager coming by, or some Karen neighbor complaining. I get stressed out enough as it is workin on cars.

I get that, especially if you don't have much experience doing so

But at the same time you do understand that you just have to do it to get over that anxiety right?

You are literally you're own worst enemy; those that lurk from time to time might come in and think we're picking on you when in reality (and I hope you see it) we're trying to force you to just shut up and go do thing because it'll be the best thing for you really

But when it becomes unbearable is not when you share opinions you've gathered from various sources and cite them as facts almost, but when you get into territory you're unfamiliar with

Great example was the little argument about IFS and wheel travel earlier

Not trying to bring it up to go over that whole thing again but I know enough to know that, if I'm unfamiliar with something...I shut up about it and just try and learn (and apply myself to gain some real-world knowledge/experience)
