I don't get many bonuses, that's just gov't stuff for you, but thankfully they always put them in a standard payroll disbursal to keep normal rate.

Did they give you an option for the money to be taxed at the 22% flat "bonus" rate?

The problem with being overwithheld on bonus early in the year, is that it's very hard to make adjustments afterward. You can'y do negative withholdings any more.
So basically you get locked into loaning the guvt money for the entire year.

I blame companies for not helping employees "do the right thing" w.r.t. payroll taxes.

Thought it was AI of someone taking their emotional support tractor on a trip, nope... It's actually bound for Antarctica and I guess this is just how they do that.

I wonder if they have that built into the design scope of the machinery. Like "can't exceed x'y" so it can be airlifted". I know I would do that with the signs to not require those pesky Oversized load requirements.

I've watched a ton of YT videos abt the facilities and activities at Mac Town and the amundson scott base.
Shit is totally nuts for the 9 month winter period. Don't know how they don't go The Shining on each other.

Some of the posts I see are just...

Reminds me of that one gal that wanted to sue a dealership because they were quoting a full wiring harness replacement while 1,000 other members suggested to take it to a small shop for such a simple repair.

People don't understand the liability a franchise dealer has vs the small, economical approach with a local shop for a simple fix.

No, but the world doesn't really let you run out of them with more appearing at any place that does trade.

Really it should say "as big as a Cracker Barrel" to be more relatable to us
