    No worries, I get it

Just funny that you had mentioned it cause Stephanie asked me days before if you knew you'd always be welcome over

She works during the week, and I just watch the little dude; could take him to a bar

This might be a dumb question but the 8.4 wouldn’t be easier since it’s the same width as the rear?

Gonna watch Masters of the Air tonight. Let’s hope it’s as good as The Pacific. I’m not sure Band of Brothers could ever be topped.

It doesn't steer and there are no high pinion 8.4 diffs so you'll always be riding on the coast side of the gearset going forward

It was good, I watched the first episode...I think they released the first two. They did an amazing job with the flying scenes

The lead actor guy, Austin Butler apparently needed a dialect coach while they filmed the series because he couldn't drop his Elvis accent from his last role, lol

The reviews look pretty good. Maybe not quite as overwhelmingly positive as BOB and Pacific though. I hope they stick with the same characters like they did on BoB.

Oh I guess that’s why people go for the 8” mini axles then, or an FJ60 axle. For the latter, you have to “flip it” for reasons I do t quite understand. I also presume you’d need a LC axle for the rear as well if you’re going that route to get the track widths equal.

I remember when a truck was taken out off road the way it came from the factory, and not worry about 1,000,000 reasons why I should change it before actually taking it off road

It follows the 100th Bombardment group of the US Army Air Force in 1943 so I imagine it will.

in this day and age I take reviews with a huge grain of salt, people get miffed over the dumbest stuff

even the mini axle sucks for a Tacoma swap. it's 5" narrower and pass drop so you have to buy adapters and a gear tcase to run it.

TG makes a Tacoma width 8" driver drop housing and that basically the only way it makes sense to spend money putting one under the truck

I’m not gonna do a SAS anytime soon, I was just curious if there were easy ways to keep it Toyota.

    no not really :/

"easy" SAS died with the 2nd gen 4runner and 3rd gen pickups in 1995 when they stopped making em. those trucks were close enough to the 85~ frame and drivetrain to make the mythic "weekend" SAS tangible project
