Local farm supply place has Van Sickle bedliner and I really want to try it in my bed. I don't really use the bed, mostly the bed slide, just wanna cover all the wear.

I did van sickle paint once and wasn’t super impressed, it seemed…brittle? Curious how the bedliner is.

This harbor freight stuff holds up so long as you don’t slide stuff on it I guess, bumper has it too and still looks good. Fades bad tho.

Other option was the local Line X place runs specials but I figure with the Van Sickle being cheap I can recoat. It even says it's easy to recoat

I should keep an eye out for some specials, stuff is time consuming and having it done done would be really nice.

Recoating is probably good so long as it adheres well the first time

You know the self-proclaimed quirky girl that drags you there uses phrases like 'so fetch'

Stop trying to make "fetch" happen, it's not gonna happen!

    Story time

Some people know I've always been a gamer, but I was a real geek about it back in the day - skateboarding, kick boxing, and gaming

Used to play Counterstrike since the days of beta 1.2

Moving up to 1.5 is when I got competitive and participated in a lot of LAN centers and whatnot which lead me to meeting JJ

He and I rented a server for years and what started as just online teammates/friends on CS (we ran a public server and had a private server for scrims hosted out of the Bay Area where he lived) turned into practically my best friend

Enter another friend, Marlene and she joined us in both our public server and later moved her up from Cal Open to Intermediate; JJ and I actually ranked Cal Main but we couldn't keep up a clan ourselves to move up so we had moved with others at that time

Well, Marlene and I became super close the same way and living in CA, we became a real thing (she lived up in Half Moon Bay, drives were a bitch and not often)

She had gotten me into some freestyle by DJ Gyrl and others I haven't heard in over a decade or more and I'm listening to it now

Funny thing to add is JJ has been on my friends list since Steam came out and we'll message each other maybe once in 5-10 years now; I last messaged him just some months ago just to catch up
