I always wondered that, especially since I sometimes end up in another section on this forum giving concrete advice based on my finance experience.

Thought about being a broker but I was like....naw I don't wanna work

Theo's growing too fast, can only imagine River right now since you're seeing all those big changes by now

 

yeah he's finally at that stage where everything you do makes him crack up, all I have to do is a quick peekaboo and he rolls around laughing

But also that stage where they get freaked out easily, Sofia got a balloon from one of her bday parties this weekend and I blew it up and let it fly around the living room...scared the shit out of both River and Dex, chaos ensued

I told my buddy Jayson when he finally has a kid we aren't going to see each other again until the lil bastard goes to college. I ain't got time for diseases with no known cure anymore.

 

I like to think it gets better, this year hasn't been half as bad as last year was for us as far as her and then us getting sick constantly.

but then I talked to another parent at one of Sofia's friends bday parties this weekend that has a kid in elementary school, and he told me it's 10x worse when they get into grade school.

At least with toddlers you can teach them hygiene, they might forget half the time but they will listen to you. 7+ year olds are just like fuck it I'm invincible, I don't need to wash my hands or worry about germs

 

Some people I think just learn to clean up better after handling their biohazard of a child and others don't. Teachers survive because theyve learned you never touch food, your face, really anything after entering the classroom.

 

yea I think teachers are sort of like doctors too, in the sense that they are just so exposed (and trained in avoidance) that they don't get sick as often as you'd expect them too.

 

our main thing right now with Sofia is that she refuses to wear socks, because she hates how the little raised section above the toes feels on her skin. As a result, this girl has the most rank foot smell at the end of the day I've ever encountered in my life, like she's been fighting in WWI trenches without a sock/shoe change for months. Thank god for Arm & Hammer

 

My aunt wears them inside out because of that

 

Yeah, I'm surprised Stephanie is never sick but she's really good at avoiding it from the little monsters at school

Difference now is, we have our own at home now

Best reason ever not to work if you don't have to. I am already counting the days to May 15th

Thunder woke him up but...now the rain and thunder is completely gone and it's sunny outside

Does he ever lean back in hit his head on the side of the crib? I think Olivia figured out that if she leans back and makes a slight noise she can cry and get picked up.

It's been snowing on and off here. Sun's out now but it'll start snowing again around 2:00 pm.

 

Naw, he stands facing the backboard and slaps his hand on it to make a loud noise

That and he's learned to yell "day" (think he's trying to say dad) whenever he wants my attention; he'll do this whenever someone else is holding him other than me lol

picked up some of those wooden "live laugh love" type wooden signs from the thrift store to paint over and use as a base for new art project... the fuckin cheap ass paint they use is alcohol soluble so I made a huge mess just trying to wipe the dust off lol

hope the good ol universal bonding polymer primer does it's magic on it

 

hmm this gives me an idea, I want to get one that says 'Love, Hate Love'
