Me? All the time. One of our other neighbors down the block invited us to an all inclusive wedding cruise for their daughter.

My nextdoor neighbor and us were the only Asians out of a sea of Indian people, they all colloquially referred to us as “the neighbors”.

Another neighbor a few blocks away offered me their old 4x4 Infiniti SUV that wouldn’t pass SMOG for free.

I would’ve taken the damn thing if I had room to store it. Worth it alone in parts.

CHP ended up towing it away. They were using it as a decoration. Seriously. Only purpose was to make sure no one parks there.

 

I don’t even socialize with my roommates

 

I catch up with 2 of the adjacent neighbors 1-2x a week, and grillout / drink with the ones across the street 1-2x a week lol
