Long as you're listening to Jay Lewis and do it at the gas station that's all you need to qualify?

I have till Friday to fuck up my GMC as much as possible within reasonability and it's a wonderful feeling

Insurance company deemed it a total loss from a wreck that happened like 6 months ago and are sending a tow truck for it on Friday

It's an absolute joy to drive over parking stops at 40 mph

Kicking in the bedside was also satisfying

Ripping out the radio like a crackhead will be pleasurable

It's going to the action place half an hour away and back on marketplace for $2k anyway

Idk, you just never know in this country where people are so sue-happy. It does seem like shops have been picky with jobs they take on lately, since there are more cars than there are mechanics to work on them, at least in my area.

There are more cars in general than there are mechanics.

And instead of over analyzing (analysis paralysis) you could just mention it during the leaf pack install "hey by the way can you just saw off the exhaust, enough where it doesn't hit the leaf pack?"

They'll say sure, and do it free or few a few dollars or just No.

Would most likely cost more than the sawzall Ryan suggested

Sue for what in this case? Theres already liability working on a car, hence why they carry insurance. But you're just being a worry wort I suspect.

Jury duty summons arrived today :annoyed:

Somehow managed to go almost a decade without getting one, guess they finally remembered me

lets immagine for a minute that i have this chain anchored to something solid and wrapped it around the axle... How fast would be too fast if I wanted to mildly bend it without breaking it?

Not sure, maybe the underside of the bed getting burnt by the exhaust gases? IK it’s silly but people will sue for anything. I was just thinking there must be a reason the exhaust exits like that from the factory.
