The one barely comes around, the other just hangs out in his room, like me.

Next year I’ll be a dorm with people my own age. This was last minute housing.

 

Oh, my neighbors are triple my age so I can’t relate.

Just start talking to people. Strike a conversation. I meet new people just by working on my truck in the driveway. My mailman always delivers my car parts and sees me working on my truck, so I ended up being his mechanic.

My other neighbor rents out all the rooms, so there’s someone new every few months. I was offered a job as a maintenance man at the local FedEx distribution center starting at $30/Hour. Couldn’t take it because I wasn’t 18 yet, by then the foreman went to the next warehouse construction in Missouri.

His roommate worked in construction, he offered me a job with the construction company that was building the 2nd largest mall in America in San Ramon. I would’ve taken it, but it was full time. Actually visited the site a few months back, very interesting to see something like that.

Opportunity doesn’t come knocking at your door. You have to be the one who knocks.

 

Their excuse was the other neighbor works on cars a lot, and didn’t want them parking in front of their house.

I moved it. Don’t worry. It’s crammed in between my trailer and the tree now.

I’d like to see the CHP tow that.

Build a fence around it and you might be on to something. But if you can still see it from the street, they'll get to it eventually, unless you get it registered.

 

can't tell you how many strips of Gaff tape I've attempted to unwind in the studio over the years...that stuff is expensive

 

I put money towards it the registration, so I think I’m fine for now. It showed up when I tried to register it a few weeks ago.

I love Gaff Tape. It’s like Duck Tape on steroids. We went through that, and spike tape, like toilet paper during my time as a stage hand.

It’s bonded fabric tape instead of whatever plastic composite duck tape uses. Gaff Tape is mainly used in the theatrical industry for securing wires and other things, it’s meant to be durable. It’s very expensive, about $10-$20 a roll.

 

^^ This...mostly used in the movie and photo industry since it's strong, durable, and holds well to most anything without leaving behind residue like duct tape will. I go through a ton of it at work but luckily I'm not paying for it. I use it at home and on my truck sometimes too, lol

 

That's nothing. We have this tape, like duct tape but much thicker and will stick to anything. It's like $60 a roll.

 

It’s good stuff. I ripped the seam of my pants before I had to go on stage, so that was my quick repair.

Gaff Tape was a godsend in theatre. I did technical theatre for half a year, and acted for the other three and a half years.
