GM is so consistently all over the map. Remember the trailblazer with the power sliding roof so you could let tall shit stick out the roof?

Yup...I knew I was forgetting one and it finally came to me....the Plymouth Prowler

It's actually kind of rad looking in a weird way, I have no idea how good of a car it was though. I'm guessing not very

Those things still turn heads, they’re just weird enough. Collectible even.

The ssr and hhr from gm look like dead cars from the thirties that were shot and then left in the sun too long.

    Hugely underwhelming

We had one come in every few months for service; rear fits some wide tires easily though

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

If the 4 Runner is anything like the 4th Gan Tacoma, an aftermarket bumper will create new issues. The tow hitch is "Integrated" in to the frame. (Welded into the frame). It's also a boat anchor in terms of departure angle.

That weird body line is probably covering up the hitch.

thinkin about retrofitting a newer ABS module to my truck... ideally one with 4 channel braking, without the external Decel sensor.

I also kind of want to see if I could make it have ATRAC functionality... or get a module with that functionality.

Would you also incorporate a way to turn it off like an FJ or have it disable itself over 3k rpm?

A motorsport style ABS module would be nice, but with factory (road condition) type logic I think I'd pass

the 03+4R, GX470, GX460, and FJ up to about '14 all use the same module that turns ATRAC on or off

I have a GX470; I'm only aware of shutting off VSC but wasn't aware you could ever disable ATRAC at all.

I do know you can for an FJ which is why I mentioned it.

the 03-05 MR2 ABS is about the best you can get from Toyota for retrofitting imo, its what I put into my '91 MR2 and several others have done the same.

I don't think the GX has the button, but the module is the same, so you could add one

Haltech has ABS control and CAN integrates with a few standalone ABS modules but I haven't dug into it. I'm not a road course guy, rather just have a hand brake and cutting brakes.
