Yeah we have several around here too. I feel better going to those places anyway even if they are priced a little high. Knowing they're usually owned locally or part of a small franchise, not some big corp

 

Oh for sure, Carls JR is way better than the rest (though sometimes Jack in the Box hits different), it's usually the most expensive too.

Hell, think the last time I had it was when we went? Wasn't it like 30-40 bucks and one of us didn't even get a meal?

 

Yeah something like that. I just got chicken strips, but to be fair the chicken tenders are usually one of the more expensive options at all of those places.

Carls doesn't advertise it much anymore but they do (or did some weeks back) still have the $5 meal specials. Smaller than normal of course but let's be honest, it's what the rest of the world would consider a normal size meal lol.

 

My favorite fast food is still the Wendy's biggy bag because it's like five bucks and it's more than enough food for me.

For some reason I don't see Wendy's around here much anymore. We do have one in our town just a few blocks from us, but it's the only one I can think of in the whole area.

All the aggressive behavior from one or two females has left me with two less rasboras; one yesterday and one today (both males).

On the plus side, the snails have already had babies and one of them is huge.

@Kwikvette when you had your Land Cruiser did the AC idle up seem like it was really strong. I serviced my AC yesterday and it had been in the first time in a long time this has had working AC. Don't drive it that much in the summer anymore. But now the AC is kicking ass again I forgot it could basically make you blow through your brakes if you're on them light at a stop

 

Yep, the rpm would drive up about 150 or so at a stop when the compressor kicked in (I'm a 24/7 AC user)

Don't notice it in newer cars, but when I got the AC going in the LC it totally reminded me that "this was an older car"

Is it going up that much? Think it was 150-200rpm actually
