    Thanks!

Melts quickly in the hands so gotta make it quick

Too cold though and it breaks apart

Yeeeeeah, I cut into it only 2 hours in

I normally let it cool a good 3-4 hours but I had a late start since I ran errands yesterday...then drank most of the afternoon :anonymous:

Made it to Chicago, wasn't so bad except River needed a nap something fierce and couldn't get comfortable so spent a good half hour screaming before passing out

Had to hoof it across O'Hare airport carrying a sleeping 4 yr old and our bags and barely made final call for the connecting flight

On a much smaller Embraer jet from Chicago to Syracuse, NY which ironically has way more legroom than the 757 had so this should be better.

    I need a drink

They look slightly better than the set I got from you. Easley can make them good again.

New battery (and charger) for this little charmer.
I'm used to the French keyboard but broke down and ordered English.
I get a kick out of the light in the bezel at night. Pre-backlit days.

Yeah original and not even peeling. The bottom of the chassis is clean too. It was an outlier for sure, must not have been used much.
Need more ram in the future, but I threw in 6GB I had collecting dust and a new SSD and its been perfectly fine. Battery has been the best upgrade. Even at 70% its at 7+ hours.
I like that you got into the details and added new decals.

Man that's awesome being original, pristine as hell

That's the only gripe with my T42 but it's not worth getting a new battery for

The W530 got the decals, and plays well with my old Warhammer games

    Nice.
Whats funny is when I was young I'd peel decals off...now I want 'em all on haha.
Another thing with these old setups is I wish people knew how much (if not all) of your daily casual computing can be easily done with them. You don't even need to spend Chromebook money let alone thousands. I've been keeping this one open in a central location so if you need to look something up real quick or send an email, check weather, make some notes, print a recipe. etc. its ready and waiting. All for a whopping $84.

Granted, Linux helps, not sure how Windows would run on this, haven't tried.

Old gaming rigs accomplish the same ;)

    20240311_135431.jpg

But you're right; for the general population an old rig is more than enough

Picked up a free ring and pinion completely the wrong ratio and it's revers gear. Thinking of building it and tearing it apart a few times just to get some experience.

ahhh it must be from a LC High pinion 8"

practice is practice. setting used gears makes it a little trickier to pick a pattern but you'll have it down in no time

its actually a 8inch 3rd gen front diff ring and pinion 3.93 ratio. Its funny how its the same as the rear Toyota 8" both 29 spline also.

I also sent your door handle this morning.
