    @turboTacoMonkey

You can see the hard plastic right there acting like a "rest" as I adjusted the latch to create some tension to keep things tight when locked up

So I’ve been going back and forth in my head about latch orientation, is vertical like that good? I felt like it would rattle forward and backwards, my plan atm is to mount the latch at 45d pulling into the truck/hard stop and down onto a stop

I like the bigger latch styles you can actually slam shut

The one I’ve got looks identical to that pic. I cheaped out a bit instead of the big latch like the 4x kit

The 4X spindle kit is what you see there, but the latch was a cheap de-sta-co

I'll have to use this TMR Customs style as it was provided to me for the Tacoma swingout; the spindle is freaking HUGE and I was hoping to keep it tucked in without exceeding the height of the bumper :annoyed:

Had a buddy that had one on his swingout which is why I liked it

Washed the new old beater. Cleaned up okay, no dents or dings amazingly. Needs a good buff tho.

I would do the one on the bottom for sure but it's probably not necessary given the amount of tube there lol

We binged through part 1 today (as a refresher) and now we're only 45mins into the second one (she was passing out)

I'm enjoying it although I think there's some "assumed knowledge" cause it took me a second to figure out the alliances/factions

    Would recommend

Oh agree, it's a solid setup

The gusset is for the bottle opener idea lol I don't think I could incorporate a bottle opener in a cleaner fashion for him

    I've got a weird request from y'all

I wanna get a microscope for two reasons; one for my own enjoyment (I wanna see the water in my aquarium) and two to set up in the future office that Theo will use as needed for computer use/etc

Inquired about 2 different types on FB marketplace, and they don't even reply (even though they saw my inquiry to them). One has a nicer Texas Instruments model and another has a Nikon for a killer price but no replies :annoyed:

Surplus from a school an option? They're usually robust and cheap to get your hand on

I found a few "broken" ones that wouldn't be worth trying, that look like they came from a school but yeah I had tried to sift through those options as well

Thinking I'll just get a AMScope since they have favorable reviews for the money; being a gun/scope snob though I know the value of quality glass and you can save money going used (for a nicer model)

Where else do you think I'd find a used school microscope (outside of locally), ebay?

That looks like an add-on option on the drop-down menu to a modular bed rack that screams "$1,299 with free shipping" before adding the rotopax

It does look good though! And it's stainless so it's strong AF
