My direct supervisor is a direct reason why I haven't been job hunting over the last few years. He is more friend than boss honestly. But when he has to flow down deadlines (unrealistic for how we are staffed) it isn't his choice. It's one of those situations where you don't agree but it comes from above so it is what it is. I mean we have a good enough relationship that he saw me desk cleared of all my personal stuff and I didn't hesitate to tell him "I won't stick around to take the fall, my desk is already cleared out, I can walk out of here easily". He got the message, what he can do with it may be limited but I know the decisions and pressure are from above him, he is just caught in the crossfire. A boss saying we need this by X and you're not getting any help, and the guy below him telling him fuck around and find out.

 

I remember guys in middle school using powdered Jello packets in their hair to get crazy stiff mohawks that looked like they were made out of plaster

 

So THAT was Jordan's secret to his crazy spiked hair...after all these years

 

Now that's a uniquely 90s experience I never had. We just threw hard packs of ramen at each other like like normal children.

 

It had to be cheaper than buying copious amounts of LA Looks super hold gel
