School was easy, just boring

Good thing I didn't go to college though

 

As long as no one ever designs a system as bad as the these engineers designed i will br happy.

took up a 1/4 of these peoples lab space

 

Insulated is smart with a fan, I don't know about power, we've really only ran these on wells that use a lot of air and solar compressors struggle to keep, even more so in overcast days.
viairs website says they work up to 150°f until they shut down, so that encouraging.

I joined a solar equipment forum today and they all say the set up I'm think about will have no problems with keeping up running a couple minutes an hour.

I want to get this one out sooner than later and see how it does in the heat and go from there.

College is mostly easy, it's just having the will to stick with it

 

"lab space" is it meth?

 

And, in my experience, you learn nothing s out what you will actually be doing, just getting piece of paper, still experience this during my masters program

 

This applies to trade schools too

 

I mean, it's hard not to learn something if you're in like a welding program, mechanic program, or similar if they actually let you get out with some hands on experience.

Your welding and cooking program had to have shown you something I feel like

 

I loved college right up until I had to work on language arts and math.

 

Oh it definitely did, maybe I should've rephrased

Welding taught me a lot - the proper technique, some metallurgy, correct use per application (regarding rod type/size), etc and more

Real world taught me, at least in the settings I was exposed to, that really just knowing correct technique helped but everything else was sort, tossed aside

Same with culinary; I still talk to some of my colleagues and they're working in restaurants and shit and say it's WAY different (outside of the very basics that you'd need to know going in anyway)

 

Been working on multiple rooms here. All with the same issue.

 

Yeah trade school was a scam. Wish i went union sooner

 

Small 12v fans have very little power draw and if its on a temp controller so it turns only when the cabinet gets above like 100° it won’t see much run time. Just only when needed.

 

There another funny thing, they always preached networking in school, saying you never know when you might end up asking your fellow students for a job opportunity or something, I was thought it was bullshit.

Gotta find a temp controller and figure out how to wire that in

 

Speaking on unions and OT. First time with OT after the union wages went up July 1st. 135$ a hour to watch temps drop aint bad

 

Because, like car maintenance, something that is considered to be simple/basic to him or her, is completely foreign to someone else

Just like sometimes people ask me about welding something, and I asked someone what thickness would they want and they just froze

That's when I just needed to see for myself and provide my own suggestion

You do what you do because you know and understand it; to someone else even the most basic knowledge you have could blow someone else's mind

 

You get a Penn A19 or something similar you just wire it in series on the Line side for close on rise.
Penn A19 are dead simple, stupidly reliable and easily available if one did fail.
