I don’t understand why my live insurance company calls me every 2 months for a “yearly review” thats always just some kind of sales thing to buy more insurance

I'm off in the weeds with this 3rd Gen topic but have you guys seen the bed boxes that come with the trailhunter Tacomas? I didn't know they existed until I found some at a thrift store. I thought they were just some cheepo Chinese aftermarket item until I got them home and looked it up.
    IMG_20240711_132501.jpg
Not a ton of storage space because of the wheel wells but for $30 I wasn't going to leave them behind.
After making the purchase and loading it up I noticed the drivers side was WAY heavier, turns out it's an insulated cooler.

They might fit in my truck with minimal cutting
    IMG_20240711_161246.jpg

But before any cutting I'm going to see if they'll fit in a friend's 3rd Gen

Growing up I remember sitting in the back of my dad's truck wishing the wheel wells were a little bigger for better seating and poof here it is with a cup holder and everything

Best part is that the dies are made out of tool steel (4140 low alloy) so quite a step up from the mild steel used in other setups

It's so exhausting; y'all better keep yourselves hydrated

I don't take naps, but I feel like I'm ready to take a shower and go down for a nap

You're missing out on the naps. I love waking up early on weekends knowing that I have a treat waiting for me in the form of a mid afternoon nap. Fucking heaven.

And I drank plenty of beer don't worry. Moved the van to a shady spot at work to do the deed. Almost did the oil change it needs too but no. I'll do that and hopefully get the rear shocks on tomorrow.

My ADHD did get the best of me though and having an extra (never used) bottle jack I thought I'd throw it on the press.

I was able to achieve a tighter bend radius (accidentally went past 90 degrees) than I was able to on the same gauge material with a big relief cut.

    20240713_155720.jpg

    20240713_155729.jpg

And the two compared; bottom one is tighter and was bent on the brake

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I'm sending the HF Torque 3/8 drive to the dump, where it can't do any more damage. I've had it for a few years, and the two times I've tried to use it, it failed and bolts were broken.

I had to get out the old Craftsman that I bought used over 20 years ago.
