I think I've got everything I need to build the box other than the small bits of hardware.

Solar package is next, need to get some moneys first

    New backstop for the brake

Once I start doing parts with a short leg, I'll incorporate something on the tubing to allow for a closer backstop to the die.

According to this spec sheet, autos (which are 8-speeds) get 3.58 final drive, while manuals (6-speed) get 4.30.

First gear in the manual is much lower than the auto (20.6:1 vs 15.8:1, roughly) and top gear is also lower (2.76:1 vs 2.33:1)

Looks like they get substantially different engine tunes. Manual's peak torque is 310 ft-lbs at 2800rpms while the auto makes 317 ft-lbs at 1700rpm.

Or if you get the i-force max you get 465 ft-lbs at 1700rpm. Impressive.

I guess the torquier tune offsets the difference in gearing? And the auto does about 1mpg better to boot.

It does have cutsy white wheels and agressive tires. Wonder if that stuff is a dealer add-on. Did they also remove that front air-damn thingy. :p

I'm sure the palouse had something to do with those being designed to do that. More bushels per hectare than almost anywhere else thanks to the rolling hills, but a dangerous because of said hills.

The mountain towns are great. Much nicer than the front range, but most of the jobs (at least the ones I'm qualified for) are down here.

What else is on your agenda? Buena Vista and Salida maybe?

@Speedytech7 I deleted the heater Ts, cleaned out the valley, wet blasted it down to the bare metal, and sealed it with Rust Bullet. It gets a new heater pipe. I'll be back in here in the winter when the weather cools to do the valve covers and finish cleaning up. I'll call this Phase 1 or a 5 phase project.

Unfortunately not we are limited on time this trip. I do have 2 friends working as raft guides on the Arkansas. That was on my list but it's not going to happen unfortunately.

You use Fusion 360 if I recall correctly, right?
