Big filter gang

 

I'm hoping a couple Silicone elbows and some leftover charge pipe will fit in there but my focus hasn't really been the airbox yet

 

I've seriously considered ditching the snorkel all together and finding some of those sweet fiberglass fenders with the shark gills behind the wheel wells. My mother told me not to put a snorkel on this truck so she'd be happy to see me rolling up without it. We watched a lot of shark week growing up so I think she'd also like the fender gills haha

I just didn't want to impede flow as much as possible and I tend to get the thing pretty dirty, I still want to make an aluminum box for it and pipe it to a safer location to draw from, I've just been going slower through water these days. I also always leave the prefilter on it too which Im sure would kill flow on a smaller surface area filter.

 

I can't tell you how many times my wife has cursed that thing for being in the way while she tries taking pictures out the window. We just get so much dust out here all the time

I'm not saying I could design things perfect, but certainly been on both sides of the fence enough to be able to have a decent handle on enough that some of the basic design issues I encounter I would hope I could avoid. Some of it is very amateur misses in my mind. An example that's fresh in my mind is we had an assembly where a washer was too close to a thru hole lead. They rejected our first build for it, but I pointed out that they spec'd the washer, larger than those used in similar applications on their product line and that it was their design that's the issue, not the workmanship. I still don't think they understand it.

Just met the contraband sniffing doggo at the prison, very friendly. Maybe she's a hard worker but she's definitely motivated by attention.

 

I cheap'ed out this morning and bought the Kroger brand popcorn for my office snack instead of the regular kind, tastes like ass...meh.

 

But millennials like eating ass?

 

They always give me anxiety when I see them at the airport on occasion, like I know I don't have any contraband on me but with my luck they'll hit on the beef jerky in my carry on and next thing I know I'm getting interrogated Blackwater style in a backroom

This one apparently knows where work occurs, when she's just being led around on the leash I guess that's like off time for her.
