I promise it doesn't work, unless you have a very very elongated toilet... if you can make it work or a round bowl or a regular elongated toilet then you have other even more impressive talents that you're not cashing in on. The asian countries with the squat toilets have us beat on the dual expulsion front...

What's the monthly on that for y'all. When I was looking into it all the companies seemed really scummy, i mean regular human healthcare seems that way too but even moreso for animals

I think we pay $55 a month for it, it's a company through USAA called Embrace. There are different plans and all but yeah, it's legit and has saved us a lot of money with digestive issues he's had since we adopted him. They haven't turned down any claims...well, I did ask if they would cover his prescription food that he's on, knowing they probably wouldn't and they said no. I had to try lol.

We just have to pay for it up front and then submit the claim, then get reimbursed for most of it

i get the itch every now and then but if I'm giving up a day to an outdoors hobby it's far less appealing than hiking or wheeling

after what we went through in those 4 short weeks we had with Simba (the elderly black lab before we got Dex), when they found the inoperable bone cancer that was preventing him from being able to relieve himself...I think we paid well over $15k in that month alone on all the tests and vet visits just to have them tell us there was nothing that they could do.

So yeah when we got Dex that was the first order of business....pet insurance

That pore dog, he was cute. Thats what I was concerned about with Koko. They ran test and fortunately no cancer, pancreas or liver disease. She just ate something that fucked up her gut.

I had that thought to. But cleaning that drain when you're done that's going to suck.

i was house-sitting one time and destroyed a very expensive ornate copper wastebin this way

young teen me bought tamales from a door to door salesman with no second thoughts. they were delicious. woke up at 2am sweating and in extreme pain and crawled my way across the house and up the stairs to the bathroom before both ends let loose. I tried to salvage the bin but the vomit etched the metal to the point where even after polishing you could see the splatter.

That's not to bad. Do you have the cats insured also? Jack our older cat is due for his teeth cleaning and other stuff. I'm sure that's going to add up.

No for the cats, but I need to get Harley on it. We tried to get our other cat on but his age along with his preexisting conditions disqualified him unfortunately
