Damn, I was rooting for you on that 100. You mentioned a migraine or headache some days ago, that's one that can get a decent rating. 90 isn't bad by any means but hitting that 100 mark opens up a lot of things like family medical care and base access for tax free spending

 

Pretty much the same for me. 25-30 year old data were the only things listed accurately. Nothing more recent than that.

 

Mostly skiing on the clock, knee injuries broken legs. A few hit by out of control skiers/snowboarders and a handful of slip and falls. It pretty common in the ski industry.

Do the accidents negatively effect the company any way? I know in my industry if our company has to many recordable accidents it will strongly effect our ability to get work. Some places like refinerys and government work will flat out refuse to use us if our saftey record is to high

Yes and no. I'm pretty sure at some point a long-term employee will get injured. If it is once every year then that would make me hesitant to rehire.

I believe there's a tax exemption for property if 100%, other than that the only other state benefit would be for a vehicle and you get disabled plates with no registration fee for the rest of your life (for one vehicle you own).

Really, because I'm an able body still able to work if I needed, and I have all my limbs, I see no reason to be at 100%.

I do get headaches often, and you're right I should get a good rating from it but I got 0% on headaches.

What they did instead is they lumped it with TBI and gave me that instead as I have recurring symptoms from it IE smell of smoke (when there is no smoke), vision loss that occurs no more than a minute, and slight memory loss when waking up in the mornings.

In the end though I can still walk on my own and do shit as needed. If my wife didn't have great medical care (for our son), then I'd maybe be looking into it a bit more for sure.

Even then, my before-rating still got me on base and all my medical care as I was a category 1 from the get-go.

Yeah, each state's benefits varies so much

I had a buddy living in CA but still had his Oregon plates on his Jeep - they were permanent plates all because he was a disabled vet (with a low percentage even)

Crazy how in CA you have to be 100%, but in other states you can get by with significantly lower ratings

 

I think you are right. Probably worth it to do a freeze.

 

Identity theft, fixing it that is, has to be the shittiest thing to do.

Don't wish that on anyone.
