Could mark the beginning of the end of OEM joints finally, they have supported them way longer than anyone could have expected.

I had this talk in a different thread recently, but for me I set my UCAs myself, so then they can go in and just get it in spec by just doing the standard work to the cams. Works well for me, set them once and never touched them again yet they always dialed in the numbers with the lift installed.

So our local high school just ended their auto hobby program and auto collision program citing “shifts in the industry” or something like that.
I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask Toyota. Not sure how to go about setting my control arms myself. I know there’s a thread I have saved somewhere explaining what position to set the SPC upper ball joint for caster depending on what you’re going for. But I guess I’d have to eyeball camber?

I guess Total Chaos and that other dude that was making his own uniball lowers would be our options then?

Local Firestone will only set toe on my LC because of SPC uppers. If I go to Mud Connection in Little Rock, no problem.

For what it's worth I was running made in Korea ctr joints on my 4 runners and they had the same fit and finish as oem (machined bolt/nut flanges with good quality paint) i jumped the fuck out of both 4 runners for a couple years and they never developed play

In my grey 4 runner I hit a dunes at the beach at 40mph no problem

    Second fixture arrived

    20240912_113843.jpg

Came in a bit brown, rust flakes mixed with the oil discolored it all but w.e.

I'll hit it with steel wool and wd40 this weekend or something; maybe a brass brush first

Need to get some hardware, level them out, and bolt them together for a 72" x 24" flat welding table

Yeah you should be able to Google it for the castor orientation. I think there is a default suggested position for camber but I don't know for certain, it's been several years so I don't remember where I set mine, I think it's slotted all the way out.
