Am I the only one here with a 95.5?

I ask because with the new LCA bushings on the way (thanks @unstpible and @Wulf), I am leaning towards getting all new alignment hardware incase I run into issues with the existing stuff.

I remember talking to someone at a AZ TW thing that had a 95.5 and he said there was something different about 95.5's vs all other 96-04 when it came to the alignment cams, but I can't remember exactly what that was or who I was talking to. Apparently it is the only difference vs the rest of the 95-97 sub-generation?

Now looking at Toyota parts dept its saying the standard cam bolts (48409-35050 and 48452-35020) may not fit my truck, and only fit 96-04 (A warning I've usually learned to ignore because so many parts databases incorrectly say this)

Also the Yotashop cam bolt kit says it does not fit pre 9/1995 trucks, I'm I think a 6/1995.

    Anyone know anything about this?

Finally setup some cameras around my house to document (maybe deter but I doubt it) theft and sketchy behavior.

Last night I learned just how many stray cats are shitting in my yard. It’s not just 1-2 cats that shit a lot like I’d imagined. More like 6-7. My options…
    1. Motion activated sprinkler
    2. Spraying/sprinkling ground citrus, chili pepper flakes, vinegar, coyote urine, etc. which seems ineffective against many cats based off my research.
    3. Trapping and releasing far away from any humans. Downside is they’ll wreak havoc wherever I release them. My old roommates in college would shoot them in the head with a silenced .22 and toss their bodies in the drainage ditch behind our house. Coyotes and vultures made short work of them. Not sure I’m entering into that business being in a residential area.
    4. Just face the endless piles of cat shit and accidentally stepping on it daily.
    5. Install ultrasonic cat repellers, these will also make my neighbors chihuahuas lose it I’m guessing.
    6. Move away

I've done a mod or two
Mine was a 95.5, Don't believe there's anything different about the front suspension versus the later years

Trap and take them to the vet, a lot of places have free spay and neuter programs

You know exactly where it is they like to chill. Maybe make it uncomfortable to hang out in those areas like spike strips in flower bed so they stop resting in there.

we put them up on top the fence to keep animals from running across it in the back yard

    7. Give them a soft area and see if they'll concentrate their business there? My neighborhood roaming yard cats love my dirt pile. I wish they didn't but it's better than all over the yard. I like having the cats around, I figure they're good for pest control.

If someone’s hanging around bored could they do me a favor and check the width of your front cam tabs? My inside width is measuring ~1 7/8”

This one takes some real work on his part but really is a great solution.

Not in my specific town, but the next one over they're constantly advertising free or low cost spay/neuter programs.

Most days they're for pets, but on certain days it's for non-pets IE neighborhood cat/dog that belongs to no one so they don't care if said animal has shots or not, priority is to fix them.

I think the best bet is to kill one, put it's head in a stake in the front yard to assert dominance.

Although it is funny he put the security system in just to figure out who what shitting in his yard.

PS: I don't really mean to kill a cat, they can be such sweet companions and it is just a joke.

I knew this post was in jest, but one of the many lurking 3rd/4th Genners about choked on their gluten-free pita bread and kombucha when they read this

I going to need to set some live traps soon. We had 5 raccoons in the driveway a few nights back. Cute little fuckers, so far they haven't created any problem so I'm fine with it
