Nice thing about the elevation here has been 90* during the days, 50s at night so you get thos nice cool mornings. Highs dropping to low 80s and nights are low 50s. The air just doesn't hold heat once the sun goes down. Add in the fact it is always sunny, I love it. Hell we get more sunny days than Phoenix even.

Have you gotten use to the NM accent yet... I seriously thought people were fucking with me the first time I heard it.

Havent noticed. Most of the time it's a Spanish accent since it's predominantly Hispanics here...

See that I get, but when I was there I was hearing a similar accent (think more like stereotypical cholo accent) out of native NM white folks too and it threw me off. I seriously thought they were doing a bit and Ashton Kutcher was going to pop out and tell me I'd been Punk'd.

Wouldn't surprise me. I haven't noticed it at work or the grocery store... Not like I go out much :anonymous:

Oh in other news I offered to help my parents get a new car, they had expressed interest in a 4runner. I had a shortlist of vehicles for them to look at with the 4runner, such as a used GX, a Honda Ridgeline/pilot, or maybe an F150 with the big cab. Something to haul 5 people, golf clubs, and be able to go drive dirt roads. Well they went out and got a 2022 Durango with the 3.6....ex rental car. :annoyed:

"He did his research, plus it's an ex rental car so it's been really well maintained" was what I was told

That's funny I've never experience a rental car without excessive WOT and handbrake turns but okay

I haven't been too crazy in my rental cars, they've usually been rented by my employer so you play nice. And they don't see any more WOT than my personal cars.

Oh Zane since you're here and not working, but I am, and too lazy to search.... What are the two step colder spark plugs for the supercharger? I think I want to put new plugs, wires and coil packs in. I can tell there's a very slight miss at idle so figure I'll go ahead and freshed it all up. Coil packs are likely culprit as they are original and it smooths out under throttle. No CEL but I know my truck well enough to tell it's slightly off.

Denso IK22, don't buy them on Amazon, you'll get counterfeit

I wouldn't be surprised if I have other counterfeit parts.i know the AEM wideband had a counterfeit Bosch O2 plug, thing didn't last long at all nor give consistent readings. Bought some random one off Amazon after that and it's been great, ironically. And the AEM I thought I bought through the AEM Amazon store...

I'll see if I can find them on summit or rock Auto.
    Edit:
Denso coils, ngk wires from rock Auto and IK22 from URD on the way. Couldn't help myself and treated myself to a short throw shifter kit. Maybe I will stop slamming my cups in 2nd and 4th as I have for the last 14 years...

Yeah it has. No rain all summer. Then snow at the end of August. We got Fall up here the last week but it's going to get worn again starting today.

We're supposed to get it tomorrow but it's not going to be much, maybe 1/8" or so. We usually get a little more than the rest of the county being in the foothills but they are saying it won't be a lot. Enough to tease us before temps start going back into the 90s this weekend
