Nah its ok. I already have enough rust on my phone from Dallas

 

They can make a lot of power and have the best diesel sound but have issues that need to be addressed. Look up 6.0 bullet proof, the oil cooler, egr, and HPOP usually need to be replaced to prevent catastrophic failures. The FICM can be finicky too.

The parts are a couple grand alone, paying a shop to do everything is like a 6k+ job

Yeah that's a clean truck but that price is too high for one that hasn't had any of the preventative upgrades. I would expect to pay 10-12k for a similar truck will all of the above work done and 6-7k for one without IF it was in good shape with maintenance history
