this looks kind of like a fixed back version of the Sparco I have...which I find not very comfy but I am also comically sized so you may find it a better fit

    I loved my Sparco.

It's the only reason why I'll sit in and try that NRG.

Never sat in one, and I know they're economical seats but I like a snug seat.

Is NRG much better than the Amazon knockoffs? I had blindly thrown them in the same bucket. Great deal if they’re nice though, and you’re ok with the fixed bucket

Popular in terms of accessories for many years now.

    But better? I can't say.

NRG is an economical brand that seems to get more expensive just based on popularity.

snug seat might be good for the back if it keeps everything all aligned nicely

My friend had Nrgs in a Miata, seemed nice, it was never a comfort based decision though

XB seats are definitely better than the Tacoma ones. Drove a friends xB a couple hours home when she bought it because she didn't know how to drive manual and it was actually a pretty great car to roadtrip lol

    Ahh gotcha.

Yeah I've got a bad back so comfort is big for me. And I always found a racing style seat to be comfy with a few stock seats fitting the bill such as vader seats from an older M3 and a few others.

Yeah don’t mean to say they are or aren’t comfortable though, just my only experience was with a set where that didn’t matter at all. Still worth a shot.

I’ve been mainly waiting for a cheap set of BRZ seats to pop up, I never had an issue with them in my car and I think they’d fit nicely. Seems like every pair on fb are Frs seats with that bright red shoulder bolster that would look terrible against my oak interior

Quick search revealed a seat with that red bolster

Only $250 and it comes with a stock FRS intake

I like that top set with the all black, that might be out of an 86. The brz had vinyl bolsters, I’d take that over red fabric but all black fabric would be best. The vinyl wore pretty bad on my car
Not sure about the 2nd gen seats, they look bigger. Not sure if big enough to cause an issue. Can’t find them in my hopeful price range yet anyway

These would be perfect; late 1st gen so they don’t have the red stitching as the earlier brzs and still black on black . More than I want to spend though, hoping to be well under $300 by the time they’re installed. I’m gonna have to accept a bit of wear and maybe some tears to get that deal though

They do look good I will say, but sometimes at those price points, you're coming close to just buying a new, quality single seat.

I keep going back and looking at Recaro's but they're roughly $2000+ a pair regardless if they're out of an STI, Camaro SS, etc
