Yup I totally agree. I don't care so much about loosing or saving daylight, like you said its the time adjusting that’s annoying. Although I think the point was to have more daylight to save on electricity.

Anyone here good at Adobe Illustrator?

I have a .PNG file that I want to vectorize in Illustrator by removing the image rasterization. When I import the .PNG or .PSD into Illustrator, it gives it a white background I cannot remove. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove said white background. I tried the magic wand tool, and it did work - however when I exported it as a .AI into Photoshop, the image looses its vectorization and reverts to a rasterized imaged.

I'm trying to scale my logo so I can have it printed as a decal for my trailer.

You don't just convert a raster to a vector bud, you import it to trace it as a vector. Bit more involved. There may be some online services that'll do this for free or little charge, or if you find an art student you can bribe them

My friend made the logo in Photoshop, and it does appear as a transparent image in .PNG form. I managed to vectorize it in Illustrator (zoom in with no image quality loss) it's just I can't make the background transparent.

Would tracing the entire image with the pen tool work?

There has to be an easier way, I just want to delete the white background.

If the elements on top are a vector the background wont matter when you submit the SVG to someone to print

@Speedytech7 I got this far, I deleted the white somehow with the magic wand tool.

However, this is the .AI image that gets exported. [Note White background]

That's just the AI preview, export it in a real vector format like EPS or SVG

Right, but whenever an image is truly transparent, there is no white. It's the gray GUI interface of the Preview window.

EPS is weird. When I export it EPS, the colors are all off. Like a toned down color palette.
