I don't remember overpressuring being a problem. You just pumped until there was enough pressure to blow the cork out. I guess you could get into trouble if the cork got stuck...

I also might be remembering. It was more than a few years ago.

Looks like the driveshaft was hanging down. That was one of two storms we had. It hasn't snowed since the 24th of December.

I also had something kinda like that as a kid. Looks like they still make them.

The blue bit is a foam sleeve that the ball (sorta like a bouncy ball) sits in while the rocket is climbing, then they separate for re-entry. I don't remember how well it worked. Probably not very well.

Probably a good call. I had to stop bc of rain, going to clean and hopefully fix it this afternoon. Snow forecast for tomorrow night again.

I like that every generation has some sort of "stomp here and watch this thing fly" toy. Don't need much to have fun. There were days we'd just throw different balls over our houses from the front yard to the back to see if we could catch em.
Also makes me feel old. Not in a bad way though.

Your son is still over here in Castaic right? The area is getting hit with another massive wind storm tonight, 90mph gusts all night long supposedly. Santa Clarita area is supposed to be right in the middle of it this time.

Anyone know what else besides the 2 visible screws hold the recirculating air servo motor on? Or have an a/c blower assemble out that you can snap a pic of.

Saw a soft top LS today and had to look it up. A real specific flex. I am now aware of the custom landau top Lexus.
The one I saw was black over black, but here's a red/tan one for an idea...
