    Yep

If I recall, he gets them rebuilt and just the time alone spent buying them, getting them rebuilt (plus cost), then attempting to sell them does not make sense

I mean, everyone values their time differently of course

If he rebuilt them himself the cost of getting the parts would be worth it for the experience gained.

But then also paying of debt is really the smarter option.

Looks like to buy it all new, would be about 6k

1.5k shipped with another 1k for a rebuild, might be girl math but I think I'm ahead

I mean it sounds to me like not buying it would cost you $3500. So it’s either lose $3500 or pay $2500

Honestly after rebuilding I would list them for $3,500 and take $3,000. I don't see a set of uppers.

Little bit of welding and done

Going to check out a local powder coater to see what their pricing is

It'll be nice to offer powder coated items moving forward

So 3 days ago I posted some closet shelving on Facebook marketplace for $40. I told the first guy I'd hold it for him till this morning. There is nothing special about them. I deleted the add after he showed up at 9am. I wish my Tacoma parts got this interest level.

Just tell people they're musical. Welds can be wind instruments with holes + speed.

First time in the truck in a couple weeks
Had to throw the trickle charger on the battery for 3 days.. I think the diff locker harness has some significant parasitic draw, might need to switch it on with ignition.. Battery was dead dead a hell of a lot faster than it used to deplete

@Speedytech7 Also I will forever love that Ian Fleming came up with Bond and Chitty Chitty.

I suppose you kind of get the feeling of it with the intro they use in Chitty Chitty bang bang with the car race. Although I like to entertain the idea that James Bond might have also been played well by Dick Van Dyke

I had that issue with the light bar harness. The switch had a back light. I switched it from always powered to ignition and it fixed the problem.

Can you just imagine him with his awful British cockney accent that he used in Mary Poppins?
