Wow, my old rig made it to Utah

Yep!

Has the front diff guard welded on, same OME steering stabilizer, Dobinsons coils front and rear (I had Icon shocks), missing rear factory bumper, Sparco seat, but the biggest two give aways are the rear crossmember has a square hole cut out, and the license plate frame is still on there -

That "high-flow" radiator is the Leiland I installed after I got back from Tahoe -

 

The seat and the bumper made me think so

 

I sold it for $13,000 but with the DVS Delta shit installed.

I made money selling that thing when I did, mainly because of the trade+cash on top I got when I got rid of the 4Runner

I got that 4Runner from my co-worker for what, $1500 or $2000 I forget.

 

It was a fine Lc, I enjoyed rallying it down the backroads

 

At least I got a decal for it

 

It's a shame though that it's in far worse shape on the inside, but at least they did some maintenance on it. Not like a water pump job is hard on those.

With the fan clutch out of the way, everything is easily accessible. Even more with the radiator out of the way.

Had a Spartan luncbox locker in the rear.

Worked really well actually.

Funny though he added the panhard bars but not a new steering link? Maybe he got an old one or something.

The day before I got rid of it, I took it through some Black Diamond lines at Hollister Hills and I tested my own skid and sliders on some rocks

Ended up hitting that skid hard and I think I knocked off the alignment. This was the part before the rocks -

 

All I know is I'm going wheeling tomorrow

Challenge for anyone who's bored tonight.

I'm looking for a 3/8" security hex (the kind with the hole in the middle) on a 3/8 drive socket. It would be to replace this: https://1up-usa.com/product/rack-wrench

I'd prefer to buy a single socket--no need for a whole set of different sizes.

I can find 3/8 hex sockets, but not the security style. I can find security sockets, but only in smaller sizes.

 

Couldn't you just take a regular one and drill a hole in the center?
