Template is cut along with one of the legs for mock up

    20250224_115913.jpg

    Just need some 1.5" round

Apparently all I have is 1.75" so maybe I'll redo the template or buy some smaller tube

This will allow the proper placement of the legs in relation to the center tube

    20250224_115940.jpg

Shitty thing is, UPS is running late so my acme screw won't get here until tomorrow

On the plus side, I've got another potential new customer coming by that's letting me have his sissy bar from a 2013 Soft tail

It'll be perfect to use as a backrest

Gonna make my own version of a "Vyper" chair

Instead of spending $600 for one, I'm gonna use left over steel with my only costs being electricity, a bottom rest, some casters, and maybe some scrap round tube

You able to bend round tube into a circle for the base or got another idea for that?

The Harbor Freight one my MIL bought me is nice and all, but I want something more comfortable that rolls

    20250224_121245.jpg

That and I'll often have someone over so having a second place to sit helps a lot

I'm back and forth on that

I could go to this off-road shop near me to get it bent at what, $10/bend? But I don't know if such a bender can make it round to close in on itself

Most likely just a "round" cutout. It's all 3/16" so it'll be solid AF

    Good news, it's real leather

Bad news, two of the three bolts are siezed so I'll have to weld a nut on

Do the Japanese eat them too? Or harvest them for their pelts? They do in China apparently.

Is there any secret ways to open a door when the handles aren’t cooperating? Think some linkage inside is fucked up bc the inside handle isn’t working either

Locks seem to be working fine, just refuses to unlatch

Is it even possible to get the panel off with the door shut
