    Yeah i only noticed that tab putting in the 2nd one, backwards of course lol

    Is using grease a bad idea? Not sure if i want them moving once they’re in but they’d go in a lot easier

    It should be fine to use grease. Internally the bushings need to be pressed in the correct direction if you'll notice the front bushing has the big slug of rubber facing a slightly different direction in the back one for what I suppose is some sort of lateral stability

    Rubber = no grease

    Poly = grease

    id use a thin coating of grease or anti seize. once theyre pressed in it should be tight enough to keep the sleeve from spinning in the control arm

    I seem to have inherited a 2008 BMW X5... I don't know what I'm going to do with that yet. But it has a nice N52 3.0 engine and a 6hp ZF trans...

    I'd bet those members would easily handle the job.

    13.5" diameter wood top - I will be drilling 4 to 6 holes through it for T nuts.

    I don't have the wood working tools for cutting a perfect circle, and adding any kind of bevel to remove the sharp edges.

    It'll be for my Vyper-rip-off project. :crapstorm:

    Spend the money for a plunge router. I don't do any woodworking but it still comes in handy quite often

    I know we've all beat the subject quite a bit, the whole overlander thing and all.

    But I'm seeing more and more kitted out trucks that seem to have never touched dirt. Most out here being 4Runners with ladders and nerf bars.

    The 1st Gen flatbed Tacoma was badass though - that thing had a crunched up cab so you know he gives her the beans :rofl:
