Which one is from the side that had the LBJ failure? That could certainly have put some unnatural forces on it.

 

So now a full day in and while the stairs up to my second story apartment are a challenge to go down, he has started to figure out to potty outside. He has been fantastic off leash, and is just incredibly sweet and smart. Will start doing some more serious training this weekend, right now I just want him to get comfortable and trust me. But he is already responding to sit, no, and his name.

 

They are forged steel but that is a weak point and yes, I have seen them break there before as well. The variance in degrees is negated by the UBJ link to the UCA. However, I only bend them with heat when I am going to weld them with a gusset for reinforcement. It just lines them up nicely with the gusset.

I am planning to do gussets before they get reinstalled, so you'd recommend trying to straighten them out a bit first?

I do it so it fits the gusset well. It doesn’t take much to bend that neck with a vice. I would recommend heating and not trying it cold. If something goes horribly wrong then reach out. I have plenty of spares.

urgent care sent me home with their nebulizer last night until I could get one today; that bad I guess.

allergy induced multi-day asthma; doc still doesn't understand how/why/now? missed my weekend long runs; lost lots of sleep; but do feelz a lot better with some vaporized albuterol and steroids...le sigh.

also still plagued by the damn screeeeeaching truck. cry cry cry.

 

Nebulizer could make a good bubbler for a fish tank after you get feeling better.

Did you do this on your OnePlus 12?

I tried on mine today. I enabled "show system apps" but don't see it listed. The phone is updated to the Jan 2025 security update.

 

Might as well do a Haltech in that thing. Especially now that you know how to get it to manage the trans as well.

 

Yeah it was present on both my work Samsung Galaxy and my personal OnePlus 12R, I just searched the apps settings menu for it.

So it begins, I have started planning it all out. Got the wiring diagrams all out and plotted all the stuff to remove and all the stuff that will be added. Might as well convert to coil on plug since distributors are so 20th century, new larger fuel injectors with small twin turbos in mind for the future... etc Lots of stuff I can remove if I this route and it simplifies everything, no more stock ECU, no more stock TCU, EGR, PAIR, etc. So much to throw out and make the engine bay clean.

Linux pisses me off so much, it's so good at doing specific targeted tasks but just generally shite at doing anything a regular computer OS can do as a maintenance or convenience item.
