Which is kinda why I think that seemed super sketchy. I get I’m gonna pay for shocks and lower ball joints.... but gas tank and maybe an axle housing ? Again I’d like to iterate they have not seen this truck yet as it was inspected and approved on another island. I don’t think I should pay for say those things.

Shouldn’t need an axle unless it’s leakig like mine was.
Shocks get some aftermarket ones. Doubt the gas tanks bad

 

He was talking about the leaf perches. Honestly when i bought the truck it was just on the hanger close to the cab was rotten everything else had surface rust

 

I’ve never seen perches rust out. The pumpkin yes. Not the perches

 

@Crow_of_judgement weren't you looking for one of these? I know wrong color. Nothing a spray can couldn't fix.

 

Got my sears tools in today. Nice set, but no way in hell it will fit under the passenger seat like I was hoping for.

 

yeah I was thinking it looked too big for that, I'll just keep mine in the back of the cab under a blanket or something.

I hate going into houses and having to explain to people that sears isnt closing like everyone thinks.

 

I read through all the frame replacement threads, and it’s normal that those parts would need replacing. Some dealers eat the cost, some make you pay like I said.

Sears will file for total liquidation sometime in Jan of 2019. The service side might survive after it gets sold off at that point.

 

Nope just used free shipping. Looking at shipping label, the warehouse is only like 20 miles from my house.

 

Lol. It kinda is. 2 years tops. It's sold off all its major brands. Just a matter if time.

 

Yeah idk. As lomg as checks come in im fine. Dont plan on staying lomg either
