This liner is about 2mm thick.

 

We ended up torching my buddies T100 bed. Get it to melt, then scrape it off.

Nah. Map gas torch and a gasket scraper. Oh and lots of time. If you can con friends into helping that would be good too.

Stuff rehardens instantly tho. I guess your idea may work, but it would be smoky. Better yet, just get a brush burner for a propane grill bottle.

Just keep the heat on one spot and the scraper under that and just move forward slowly from one end to the other
