Oh dude me too, my mom bought into the whole "milk makes kids grow up strong" BS that permeated the airwaves back then. We had to have a glass of milk with breakfast, lunch and dinner and I'd often just chug it right out of the carton when I was thirsty.

 

God damn I haven't seen a ICanHasCheezBurger meme in like 15 years

Haha I'd chug it too. Nobody had to force me, I loved it. Meanwhile my friends mom had to give him a dollar to drink a glass, he hated it haha.

 

The free AOL hours CDs were the best

 

Imagine how much they spent back then on discs. Every mailbox all over the country. Oof.

this reminds me of how my mom would bribe me with a trip to Chuck E Cheese at the end of the month if I would eat the crust of my sandwiches that she packed for my lunches, I hated the crust.

 

Haha I haven't seen that in a long time.
Milk really is one of the few drinks where just a slight temperature change ruins it. Anything but cold milk is pretty bad.

 

I had a babysitter, an old woman, tell me crust would make me grow hair on my chest. I think she was trying to say it'd make me a man, but it made me want the crust even less.

Also before everyone smartened up and got a second line for the modem there were many fights in everyones home. Good times.

 

Some people like nice things I guess and aren't driving it looking for issues that don't exist
