You definitely have a good two car garage going as it is. My van wasn't as cool but I do miss the space sometimes, just don't have the opportunities to justify one like you all do out west. We're so condensed and packed in and camping just isn't the same near where I am.
The "bulldog nose" description is great for those old trucks by the way. I think that was their last good body style. Been seeing more, even the extended cab looks tempting

Credit for the wood top goes to @wilcam47

I don't know even know what type it is, just know it's solid AF

And the actual upholstery job I sourced locally, I just gathered the specific materials.

Opted for a premium supportive foam, highly resistant to moisture, and 2.6oz sq/ft top grain leather. I wanted real leather cause it's soft, and durable as hell.

Yeah that's the old model. The new one was made specifically for holding a larger water bottle
The phone holder slot in mine is right at 4" wide so you're phone should fit

Yeah it works well for me, but I do miss having something fast in the fleet. The truck has come full circle being a street truck again. It does just fine and has good utility. We popped in a dog platform for Venice last year which is great to have her in the cab, BUUUT now I got a rethink that a bit with the new dog, wasn't expecting that.

Maybe one day I'll get an old Ford for a project vehicle. With each passing month that seems like something that's a dream vs reality.

I just got a call from my son in California. He's decided to buy an FJ40 there and bring it home. I need 7 vehicles here... :violent:

I said he is in the right place to find one. I said to take a drive up to Stockton and visit Cruiser Brothers. They come here in the fall for the Cruiser Crawl.
