It’s a fairly large lot with lots of junk cars around, so I guess it just sort of blends into the surroundings.

I haven't ever seen a clean local one pop up that's for sure. Some heavily tinted, ragged out ones though.

Bringing one back to life after it spent a decade at takeovers could be a fun project

Could be! Seems like there are two options, full project or drop the $ on a freak clean one at auction.

I wonder how parts availability is these days though. Resurrecting a square body or Bronco or something else with longstanding support is one thing, resurrecting a modern-ish car that was relatively uncommon, but not "rare" or "special" in the first place might be an endless parts hunt.

    Probably due for a check-in.
    Just my opinion anyway.

Yes especially now that the weathers getting nice, he might expect me to deal with it. I recall him saying something along the lines of “as long as it doesn’t turn into a year” or something to that effect.

I have been working with some shipping companies on quotes, but it’s hard to find a driver going from rapid city to Moscow.

In general I don't care for clear housings--too much association with the AutoZone parts aisle "tuner" scene from 20 years ago--but an IS/Altezza is the OG and they work.

It's so good. They even made a limited run of watches with the same setup.

How many miles is it exactly?

Why not hire a self-employed dude (with actual business license and insurance) with a car trailer or something?

    That’d be a sweet combo
They should make a watch with a moving cluster like my RC

About 900 one way. It might not be cost effective for someone to transport just the one truck all that way though as opposed to on a trailer with other cars, but idk I could be wrong. I’ve floated the idea to a few locals and they didn’t seem interested.

    Eh, not trying hard enough.

There are semi-truck owners that'll do a run across the nation for as little as $1,500 - I'm talking CA to the East Coast or close to.
