I hear yeah. I'm not a HF hater. I like HF. Granted they have some crap tools but there's stuff that is actually decent. And believe it or not some things they carry are actually made in the USA.

speaking of harbor freight, I picked up this nifty little $2 flashlight that plugs right into the cigarette lighter in the truck and is pretty damn bright for being so small. It's awesome when you need a quick light in the dark.

Jesus Christ. Started my beater car up because it hasn't been started in like a month, so I was gonna let it get up to temp, went inside and forgot about it, it has no radiator fan and barely any coolant in it, forgot about it and went outside 40 minutes later to it sounding like it's gonna explode, blowing steam everywhere :rofl::rofl::rofl:

yeah I pretty much get everything there, although I've heard to avoid their "offroad" accessories like the winches and their brand of hi-lift.

I do have a D ring that I got from there that I've used a bunch of times to pull stuck buddies on the trail and it's worked well

HF is weird, it's sorta like the entire mentality of existing on a tight budget wrapped up into one store. You have to be wise to the tricks, understand what works and what's a waste, watch out for the dude in the back waiting to stab you... But seriously though there's some decent stuff that I'll happily pick up there, and some stuff that's absolute trash and will save you no money in the long run

I know rotaries overheat easily but I seriously don't know what really gets damaged when they do, they don't have head gaskets, the rotating assembly has some oiled parts I guess. Maybe apex seals fry?

My wife went into our local Harbor Freight by herself to get me one of my x-mas gifts last year and told me she's never going in there alone again, I was like um...yeah, don't do that, lol. She got creeped on by so many dudes thinking a girl by herself in there needed all kinds of assistance.

I haven't tried any of their ratchets & sockets since I still have all my tool truck stuff from when I worked in automotive. But I have one of their older 60 gal air compressors. Everything except the pump is made in USA. The pump is made in Italy. Oh and their yellow Daytona jack that is a knock of the snap On jack. That thing is nice, I love mine! Ixve got thei big & small tumblers too, they work great too.

Dude, the 2001-2004 center console is godly. My favorite interior mod to date.

And you get real cup holders. Sooooo much room compared to the 1995-2000 one.

Mmm. I just got back from Trader Joe’s. I’m making Tri-Tip sandwiches.

I also found out Tri-Tip doesn’t exist outside California.

Ratchets are one thing I demand quality from, all but one of my regularly used ratchets is a Snap-On, the other is a HF Pro model that looks like a Snap-On. I've broken the HF one twice so it's time I buy a Snappy version of it but it's still a decent tool if you know what's going to fail on it.

Impact sockets are the real deal. Standard sockets are hit or miss.
