Friend a few houses down just added another Yota to the stable - previous owner fucked something up when he did the starter so I know what I'm doing Sat

another couple of weeks before I can do anything on my frame build... I did find a double cab diagram, so I got all my hard mounting points laid out, probably gonna miss my self imposed 7/4 target

    Test cutting starts tomorrow!

    20250528_161238.jpg

Just got home from picking up a 4' x 8' of 11 gauge. Price went up a few dollars from the last time I bought some. Still not bad at $119 from the original $109

Crazy how small a piece of 4' x 2' looks like on the table.

Well, I got 3 more sheets of 4' x 2' (I get them cut down in 4 total parts since I don't need to cut big items out of 11 gauge). It's what I use for test cuts since it's affordable enough to just toss, but also makes for a great thickness for cutting 3D dino's.

And yeah, the sheet looks small compared to my last table :bananadead:

3D Dino for the win! I may be semi local to you around the 21st we still don't know where the wedding will be so trying to plan is frustrating. They are around LA somewhere is all the info I have for now. we may take a scenic route towards Sacramento and then head south to wherever the destination ends up being. I'll also need to squeeze something fun in for the wife's birthday during our travels so that probably means sushi and a natural body of water of some sort.

    Sick dude!

Sucks you don't know whereabouts, but the good thing is if you're going to be out and about between LA and Sac, you'll definitely be passing by me.

I'm about 3.5hrs north of LA, and 2.25hrs south of Sac so damn near in the middle.

I mean if she doesn't tell us their location that just means we don't have to attend a wedding so we could enjoy the trip at our own pace

Shoot good thing you mentioned that - there's a wedding we're going to this coming month as well.

Just glad it's up north as it'll be much cooler.
