W've had something like two weeks of daily heavy rainfall here. No flooding like that, but everything is very wet. We have had a few roads and hiking trails damaged from localized flooding and washouts.

I put some grass seed down and it's sprouting with no water.

That's some beautiful country around the Carson River. This looks like the crossing under normal conditions.

Feel like a few of you were talking about a Red Bull fridge. This one is pretty sick! Need me to grab it for you?

This year has seen our water crossing water levels rise to dangerous levels. Crossing at 4.25 ft and below is good for my favorite river crossing. This year has been way too high to even think about it.

I'm leaning heavily toward driving the Tundra to CO this year. Its 1,000 pounds lighter than the 100. Though the wheelbase is ~16 longer so I'll be making fewer one point switchbacks. I'll move the cameras and head unit from the LX to it before I go. Backup and front bumper cameras work magic on tight switchbacks. It's a comfortable beast to drive on a long haul trip.

I posted it on our community fb page to alert others that might walk up there and people are trying to get me to call animal control to come out, like wtf is that going to do there are thousands of these fuckers in the hills around our development lol. If it was on our property I’d get rid of it

My dad made a few pretty cool hand bands to go around his cowboy hats from rattle snake skins when I was a kid

I can't imagine either being a bad choice but it's surprising to me how much more you seem to like the Tundra than the LX. Is it because the LX is more modified, which makes it less enjoyable on the highway?
