If it's "for the vacuum" I might even be able to convince the wife that too.
Best way to get a new battery is to buy the tools that come with it

Yeah i got one on the job site we been using, its nice though the hose storage sucks.

i have the worse lock with new shop vacs though, every time i get one i either end up using it to suck concrete dust or nasty ass water the next day. Sometimes both at once lol

My default is anytime an objective sends me somewhere, I take a dump truck and grader and just throw down dirt roads everywhere lol
I’ve been on Sunken and Incomunicado for weeks now because I’ve just made roads going everywhere instead of focusing on objectives

So, apparently the freaking road I created (in the screenshot you quoted) actually becomes an objective later

The issue? I should've made it longer to automatically complete it

    RoadCraft Screenshot 2025.06.17 - 23.41.44.30.png

Also, I was stuck for a quick minute when nothing happened after 'delivering new pipe'

I didn't know I'd have to go back and grab my crane

I’ve got one of those. For what I use it for (dragging up in equipment so I don’t have to get a giant shop vac in the cab) It’s kind of a pain. Has 2 sets of filters and ones always clogged up. Or the flex hose clogs up. Missus uses it around the house and doesn’t have any complaints about it though!

That guy with the kubota diesel swap needs to post up some details. If I’m gonna fix this thing I may as well keep up family tradition and put the time into something more interesting than a new head

Doing too good of a job at work lately I guess, they are trying to move me to a struggling division where I would not work 55 hours over 5 days, but 75 hours over 7 days... I feel like there is no carrot for this "promotion" only stick

If it doesn't come with money commensurate of the task then it isn't a promotion

it would come with a ~30% pay bump with some promise of a more prominent title change and maybe another pay bump, and maybe a reduction in hours after a year or so.

I feel like I don't have enough time as it is, so this is not a welcome "opprotunity"

Without the title change and added pay increase in a year being set in stone, that's a big what if.

Also, is the pay increase simply due to the extra hours? A 30% increase on the hourly rate itself? Or is it salary and you end up slaving away each and every week.

Sounds like an easy pass; time off is way more valuable.

Could you get them to commit to a timeline on any of that. Might make it worth it if you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. 30% is hard to turn your nose up at in this economy
