Yeah it's crazy. We don't have a hospital nearby like we used to, at least a ~25/45 min drive depending on traffic and with all these snakes around us now it does worry me. You have to get treated asap if you get bit by a venomous toothy noodle

Might be good to tach the kiddos about em, rattlers are afraid of humans, we're not so much prey to them as a danger. They want to be left alone so if you hear the rattling... walking away carefully toward the house might be good instructions to have in their head. Dex... well he's hopeless, you already know he will investigate anything with wreckless abandon

Wonder if there's a nearby spot for an airlift since y'all are so high up

But yeah I can't imagine with the traffic out there :bananadead:

Yeah he still lunges after skunks on our walks despite get maced in the face by one, the doof. We had a landscaper come by awhile ago to go over redoing our backyard, he was talking about installing snake guards along the back fence and also mentioned "snake training" for dogs.

Didn't realize that existed but I'm guess this dog went through that class

ive been finding HF products a lot more palatable these past 5ish years.. their quality hs gotten better on a lot of stuff, and a lot of the other brands have gotten shittier without dropping the price

I've decided to drive the Tundra to be in Colorado August 31 to Sept 4th. The turning radius is 40.7 compared to the LC100 39.7. Not that big of a difference.

I fucking hate palm trees. We have two little ones on the side of our driveway that I can't wait to get rid of.

    There’s so much to hate!

    They provide zero shade.

    They throw giant debris everywhere.

I’m convinced one of them is going to blow over in a monsoon and take out a neighbors house…

My wife is convinced one is going to get struck by lightning and become a giant torch…

    Apparently scorpions love them.

And every summer, there’s at least a story or two about a landscaper getting stuck in one and dying.

    Defund palm trees!!!

There was a lot that went into how utterly devastating and destructive the fires here in LA were back in January, but one component of it was all the palm trees that are all over the place out here. They catch fire easily and with big wind they spread that fire as bad as burning brush does

I wonder if they ride more like srams or shimanos. I use shimano saints rn. Dont like the feeling of sram, but i do want to try a bike with magura brakes, i think they look cool, but hear they ride similar to srams but you can tune them to feel less squishy
