    The other day I lost power steering and nearly went off the road. When I got back I heard a grinding sound coming from under the hood and there was sparkling confetti everywhere around the engine bay. Fluid levels were normal. WTF?

    Maybe check all the pullys and figure out what had play in it. Better fox it now because something more costly breaks

    It looks like the power steering pulley thing was wobbling. The shaft must’ve gone out inside the pump. It doesn’t look too hard to replace, but I might have to take the belt off and muscle it to the shop.

    take the belt off and give the power steering pulley a spin and a tug. itll tell you a lot and cost nothin but time

    Walmart does that? I thought big box store pharmacies only did stuff like the flu shot or covid vaccines.

    Still, a TB shot is really quick; in and out and done.
