yeah I will play most sports for the fun of it but when it comes to watching them, I can only get into hockey and maybe that's because it's the one I played the most, I dunno. A good friend of mine is a huge baseball and hockey fan and for the longest time tried getting me into baseball too. I just can't. Shit is so boring to watch lol.

Daytime summer baseball is good to have on in the back when you're working on things or doing stuff and tired of listening to the same thing. It's also great for putting a toddler to sleep.

 

Baseball, golf, and Nascar are all great for napping.

It does. I remember when a 9 inning game could last 5 hours. It down to an average of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

 

I've tried getting into the world's most popular game soccer because it is more like hockey from a play by play standpoint, but I can't get over how faking injury or faking penalties is so engrained into the fabric of the sport. Maybe I should give Rugby a try.

 

Are you going to put the kids in soccer? I was thinking of starting Olivia up next summer just to burn off some of this excess energy.

 

Not sure Sofia would be interested, she's more into gymnastics and ballet kinda going back and forth between the two. I could see River doing it though, he runs around way more. We dealt with the typical toddler fall downs/scrapes and bumps with Sofia but holy hell it's like x100 with him. He is constantly covered in bruises and scrapes.

the other day he slammed his own head on the corner of Sofia's dollhouse because he was mad she wouldn't give him one of her dolls, has a big goose egg above his eye now. Like wtf dude

 

Ok so it's definitely a boy thing
