I got to see a plane do this up in Yosemite 10ish years ago when I did a backpacking trip up there with my brother and dad. The guide told us they were going to "restocking the fish in the lake" and I had no idea that meant they were going to be airdropping them in lol. Was pretty cool to see.

Fourth Gen if we're talking Vettes - but that was an odd one because they had it for just two years as the Crossfire Injection setup (terrible) before going to the L98 TPI known as the 'torque monster'

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Torque was about all you could say for the TPI 350s though, pretty gutless wonders. The C4 lost to just about every other sporty car on the market, including their own internal projects like the V6 Cyclone and Typhoons haha. It's a wonder the C5 was greenlit, but at least they finally corrected the curse starting then. The platform really shifted from uncle grandads sport jalopy to something truly performance oriented.

And then they introduced the Z

Anyone that's experienced even a C5 that gets into a Z06 is like holy shit they turned it up to 11 with this thing

The L98 was great at Laguna Seca though for B class because even if it suffered in the turns, it'll shoot out of the hole quick

    Tuned port injection

Consisted of a complete intake manifold design with long runners focusing on low end torque

But it ran out of steam easily in the upper RPMs above 60mph
