I think the transmission might be on borrowed time at 150k miles. But iirc some of these newer Rams got better AISIN transmissions so maybe that got better.

    Nope

Only 1 tons got the Aisin (as an option)

But that auto isn't susceptible to anything major either

High tomorrow is only 92°! Perfect Garage weather. First break in thus brutal heat in a while

It’s apparently at the warehouse in Airway Heights now. I just have to find time to go to the office and square up with the company and then go check on it.

Seems doable. The only part I might need a hand with is flipping it over to check/adjust flatness and flipping it back to weld. Might give it a try with Amber but I think the top weighs ~215 lbs…

Ribs should all be parallel meaning your table will be pulled "flat" when you bolt up the ribs to the table top for welding

This allows you to do everything with the table upside down (use some sawhorses if ya got some)

That’s the plan but if you don’t bolt it down too tight (they suggest ~30 ft/lb) adjustments can be made after it’s bolted together via dead blow hammer on any high sides; so I wanna flip it and get it as flat as possible. Suppose I can do that while it’s upside down too, but I’d rather make the extra effort to get it right.

It's going to be in the 70s today mostly it seems. I welcome the break

It’s kinda humid out here though, at least by inland northwest standards

Yeah more than I prefer but not more than I can handle for the temperature at least
